Steps taken for Quality Measurement
1)Submission of Lecture plan by each Teacher
It is an important step taken to regulate the deliverance of the course contents on day to day basis, to ensure that the course is completed in time and the lectures are delivered sequentially to the students. The students are allowed to have the copy of the Lecture Plan, so that the students are encouraged to do some spade work at home before they sit before the teacher next day for the same topic for better understanding.

2).Submission of 15 days Performa

This pro-forma has three Main Heads, namely

A).  Participation of the student in the class.

B).  Attitude of the student in the class.

C).  Attendance of the student in the class

Each Main Head has further been divided in to three Sub Heads namely

A).  Good

B).  Satisfactory

C).  Un satisfactory

If there is unsatisfactory Participation, Attitude or Attendance of the individual student, it becomes a challenge for the Teacher, Coordinator and the Director to bring up  the student concerned towards Satisfactory and Good position during the session. The report of the teachers on these Pro-forma activates the coordinators for remedial action or otherwise report to the parents on special letter prepared for the purpose. This pro-forma if provided by the teachers regularly after 15 days, gives a clear picture of the performance/progress of the student in the class, at any particular time.

3).Conduct of Tests and Reports to the Parents

Though, there had been an  irregular practice at SKANS already, while it was made mandatory for all the teachers under quality measurement scheme. Regular Schedules for Tests are prepared before the start of the session and handed over to the teachers concerned. The results of the tests so received back from the teachers are then sent to the parents at intervals.
